Technical Rescue

Based out of Station 6, located at 1100 Windsor Lakes Boulevard, The Woodlands Fire Department supports a highly trained Technical Rescue Team prepared to respond to complex and specialized emergency situations. These incidents often require advanced skills, specialized equipment and coordinated operations to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

The team is trained in a variety of rescue disciplines, including:

  • Collapse rescue for structural failures
  • Confined space rescue in restricted or hazardous environments
  • High angle rescue for elevated or difficult to access locations
  • Swiftwater rescue during flooding and moving water events
  • Trench rescue for below ground incidents
  • Dive rescue for water related emergencies

Through continuous training and readiness, the Technical Rescue Team provides critical support during high risk incidents, helping protect lives and property throughout the community.
