Rescue Services

All eight Woodlands Fire Department fire stations are equipped with hydraulic rescue tools, allowing crews to respond quickly and effectively to motor vehicle accidents and other rescue situations. These specialized tools are used to safely remove victims who are trapped, pinned or otherwise unable to exit a vehicle on their own.

Firefighters are extensively trained in vehicle extrication techniques, enabling them to stabilize vehicles, create access points and carefully free occupants while minimizing further injury. Working in coordination with emergency medical personnel, crews provide immediate care and rapid rescue to improve outcomes during critical incidents.
